We really didn't have a "theme" so to speak but she liked the hip and groovy look and liked the owls so we pulled a couple of things together for the party. She had a sleep over and I created a candy bar (my advice would be to not do this if the the girls are staying, lol) They were on a sugar high till about midnight and the party started at 2pm. Lauren's birthday is in June in Texas so we normally have a swim party but try to change it up every year so she doesn't get bored with it.
